The Smoky Mountain Model is a top quality dulcimer made of the
finest solid woods. It features book matched walnut or cherry back
and sides (other woods often available). The soundboard is also
bookmatched - either matching hardwood, or spruce, western cedar, or
butternut. High quality enclosed tear tuners ensure ease of
operation and reliable performance. There is a contrasting strip of
wood in the head and back for aesthetics unless you wish otherwise.
The fretboard is channel for greater stability and improved
acoustics. The fretboard scale length is 27.9" and the width at the widest point is 7.25".  |
